Required Skills:

● Good working knowledge in writing complex SQL queries

● Good knowledge of ETL tools – Talend/Ab Initio preferred

● Good knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes environment

● Excellent analytical / problem solving skills.

● Strong software development and debug/troubleshooting skills

● Advanced ability to research, analyze and recommend improvements to the organization’s use of the software applications

● Advanced skill in creating and maintaining technical documentation

Nice to Have Skills: 

● Prior Production Support experience

● Good knowledge of database programing and data modeling is plus

● Working knowledge of Gitlabs, Jira, AWS console (cloudwatch) and incident management systems like ServiceNow and/or PagerDuty

● Experience working in a regulated industry, knowledge of finance or insurance a plus

Interpersonal Skills:

● Effective in building relationships with all functional units of the organization

● Working ability to effectively recognize and manage interpersonal communication needs

● Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple locations when necessary

● Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation

● Able to work independently or as part of a team

● Works under pressure and is able to manage competing priorities

● Meets or exceeds expectations on process turnaround for assigned tasks and follow ups, and issue resolution to closure

● Effective communication skills; verbal, non-verbal and written; and ability to communication on all levels of the organization
