Job Description

Job Title: RPA Solutions Architect
Location: Hyderabad

The Opportunity 

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing enterprise-scale RPA solutions using UiPath and complementary technologies. This role combines architectural strategy with hands-on technical leadership, ensuring automation initiatives are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.

The Team 

Enterprise Automation is revolutionizing MassMutual Business Operations by empowering employees and partners with automation capabilities to drive process efficiency, elevate productivity, deliver exceptional customer experience, and accelerate digital transformation. Enterprise Automation team builds software automation solutions utilizing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology, across all Lines of Business at MassMutual. Enterprise Automation team consists of developers, business analysts and testers focused on delivering software automations through waterfall and agile methodologies. To broaden its impact, the team has expanded its focus to deliver business driven AI capabilities, that combine internal/external data, Intelligent Document Processing to produce tangible value for the broader organization. This includes working with artificial intelligence/machine learning, computer vision, NLP, OCR/IDP, Agentic AI and algorithmic based actions.  

Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Strategy 
    • Define and maintain automation architecture standards, frameworks, and governance models. 
    • Design end-to-end automation solutions using UiPath and complementary technologies (e.g., IDP, NLP, GenAI). 
    • Lead architecture reviews and contribute to AI governance and enterprise architecture boards 
    • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools for automation initiatives 
    • End to end ownership of Technical evaluation, Proof Of Concepts, Proof of Technology, Pilots and other automation technical explorations 
  • Technical Leadership 
    • Own full bot development lifecycle across multiple automation PODs 
    • Guide development teams through solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment 
    • Oversee integration of automation with SaaS platforms, APIs, and enterprise systems 
    • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical AI standards 
  • Collaboration & Enablement 
    • Evaluate business processes for automation potential and conduct feasibility studies 
    • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions 
    • Coordinate with UiPath and vendor teams to align on platform capabilities and roadmap 
    • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to tech leads and developers 
    • Facilitate knowledge transfer and documentation of solution design and architecture 
  • Governance & Innovation 
    • Set governance policies for new UiPath SaaS products (e.g., Process Mining, Document Understanding) 
    • Drive innovation in automation strategy, including agentic automation and intelligent orchestration 
    • Monitor and optimize performance of deployed automation solutions 

  • Basic Qualifications:  
    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field 
    • 8+ years in application development and 5+ years in RPA solution architecture or solution design 
    • Proven track record in enterprise-scale automation projects and complex integrations.
    • Hands-on experience with UiPath, including Reframe work, Orchestrator, AI Center, and Studio Web 
    • Hands-on experience with IXP, Document Understanding, and AI Center 
    • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), APIs, and service-oriented architecture.  
    • Working knowledge of APIs, databases, and third-party systems like Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, SharePoint 
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, VB.NET, or Java 
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git), and Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence). 
    • Familiarity with IDP, NLP, and Generative AI technologies 
    • Exposure to agentic automation, machine learning, and process mining 
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid RPA deployments 
    • Understanding of credential management, data privacy, and secure automation practices 
    • Flexibility to work in U.S. time zones preferred. 

  • Mandatory Skills
    • Expert-level proficiency in UiPath platform (Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework).
    • Strong knowledge of RPA solution design, architecture principles, and delivery best practices.
    • Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, Python, SQL, and API integration.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and hybrid deployments.
  • Secondary Skills
    • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
    • Exposure to AI/ML, OCR/IDP, and process optimization techniques

  • Preferred Certifications 
    • UiPath Solution Architect or Advanced RPA Developer certification (UiARD).
    • Cloud architecture certifications (Azure/AWS) and Agile/Scrum. 

  • Soft Skills 
    • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities 
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 
    • Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment 
    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making

Fake Job Postings

Fake job postings are a common scam where fraudsters create enticing job listings for companies on popular job boards or social media platforms, often promising high salaries, flexible hours, and amazing benefits. These scams are conducted through online communication and affect all types of companies, regardless of their size, across the country.

MassMutual India values your privacy and security. We will never ask candidates to pay any kind of recruitment or placement fee, transfer cash, or make an investment in any product or service. We will never ask candidates to provide information, such as bank account details, social security numbers, National ID, credit card numbers, or banking PIN numbers, via email, phone, or online platforms.

Common fraud schemes:

  • Individuals posing as recruiters from the actual company.
  • Fake recruiting pages or job postings on sites such as LinkedIn and Google Hangouts.
  • Fraudsters using different channels such as Facebook Messenger, LinkedIn, or Skype to connect with potential victims.
  • Contacting candidates for conducting fake interviews and making fake job offers.

What to do:

  • Do not engage with suspicious recruiters or job postings.
  • Report fraudulent job listings to the relevant job board or platform.
  • Block and mark emails/messages as spam if you suspect fraud.
  • Verify job postings only through MassMutual India’s official website and trusted recruitment channels.

Phishing Scams

These scams often start with an email that appears to be from MassMutual India, asking you to click a link to apply for a job or update your application. The link redirects to a fake website designed to steal your personal information or install malware on your device.

Work-from-Home Scams

With the rise of remote work, scammers can now offer seemingly perfect work-from-home jobs appearing to be from MassMutual India. These scams often require upfront payment for training materials, software, or equipment—something MassMutual never requests from candidates.

How to Spot a Job Scam

    1. Requests for upfront payments—No legitimate employer asks for money.
    2. Unrealistic salary offers—If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
    3. Vague job descriptions—Scammers avoid providing clear job details.
    4. Unprofessional communication—Poor grammar, unofficial emails, or suspicious interview processes.
    5. Pressure to act quickly—Scammers create urgency to prevent you from verifying details.
    6. Requests for sensitive personal information early in the process—A real employer will not ask for bank details or personal IDs before an official job offer.

What to do:

If you discover a fake job posting or are subject to a phishing scam or any of the above-mentioned frauds, consider filing a cybercrime complaint, report the scam to the job board or social media platform where you found the posting, and report it to MassMutual India. You should also consider filing a complaint with your local police department.
